Venue and Hotel Information

The UOG Conference on Island Sustainability will be held at the Hyatt Regency Guam in Tumon, a luxurious 4-star hotel overlooking Tumon Bay. This prime location offers easy access to Tumon Beach and the heart of Tumon’s shopping and dining district. Enjoy a variety of dining options, a refreshing pool, and a relaxing spa, all while connecting with sustainability experts and enjoying the beautiful island atmosphere.

Booking information

A special room rate of $159.00 + 11% tax per room per night for a standard room is available for conference participants. 

This offer ends March 29, 2025; Hyatt’s regular rate of $240.00 +11% per room/night will apply afterward.

Transportation

Hyatt’s transportation rate is $100 one-way and $150 round trip (airport to hotel), for up to 4 guests per ride, with one luggage each.

 

Taxis are available at all hotels and major shopping centers. The standard flag rate is $2.40, $4.00 for the first mile, and $0.80 every 1/4 mile thereafter.

 

Typical one-way fares are about $5.00 to $6.00 from the airport to Tumon Bay hotels, and $8.00 to $10.00 from Tumon to Hagåtña. A round-trip fare from Tumon to Merizo, in southern Guam, is approximately $80.00 to $100.00 (Information from the Guam Visitors Bureau. View their list of taxi services here.)
