The University of Guam Center for Island Sustainability and Sea Grant (UOG CIS & SG), in collaboration with the University of Hawaii Sea Grant, will host a virtual information session for the prestigious Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship.
The session is scheduled for January 16 in Hawaii at 2pm and January 17 on Guam at 11am and will provide interested students with valuable insights into the application process and the fellowship experience.
The Knauss Fellowship is a highly competitive program that offers graduate students the opportunity to spend a year working in Washington, D.C., on ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes policy issues. Fellows are placed in host offices within the legislative and executive branches of the U.S. government, where they gain firsthand experience in the policymaking process.

The Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship is a program that has been providing valuable professional development opportunities to graduate students for over 40 years. The program is administered by the National Sea Grant College Program and is named after John A. Knauss, a former NOAA Administrator and one of the founders of the Sea Grant program.
